Llanfyllin is the main gateway for visitors heading for the walks, cycle routes, bird hides, sculpture trail and luxury hotel at Lake Vyrnwy.

This lake, created in 1888 by the world’s first stone-built dam, is one of the most beautiful in Wales. And by the time you reach Llanfyllin, deep in the Cain Valley on the edge of the Berwyn Mountains, you’re just 10 miles away.
