We are the only permanent exhibition of contemporary Automata (mechanical moving models) in the UK.

Our hands-on interactive moving model characters spin, whirl or bob up and down with fascinating mechanisms displaying cogs, cams and levers - an infinite variety of movement.  The friendly staff in our open plan cafe will serve you great home made meals and snacks, give you local information, sympathy for the travel weary and a general hearty welcome.
