Porthouse Wood Cabins

We have two self-catering log cabins in Mid Wales. The log cabins, near Newtown, are set in woods overlooking the River Severn, and are ideal for family holidays and for anyone wanting to go walking in Mid-Wales or fishing on the River Severn, or to visit the many local attractions. This is an area of beautiful countryside, traditional market towns and historical interest.
The cabins are located in the quiet and peaceful parish of Llanllwchaiarn, with its pretty church, just over 1 mile out of Newtown, in Powys, the heart of mid-Wales. The cabins have lovely views over the Severn valley, and are surrounded by woods and then fields down to the river.
There are 9 acres of woods to explore, perfect for bird watching, and private access to free fishing on the River Severn, as well as a nature reserve on the doorstep. Yet these self catering log cabins are near Newtown, with easy access for shopping and eating out.
