The Spaceguard Centre
The most significant natural danger to life on Earth comes from asteroids and comets.
The Spaceguard Centre is a working observatory, and the main source of information about near Earth objects in the UK.
The observatory is located on a remote, dark sky site ideal for astronomy, surrounded
by the stunning Welsh Marches.
The Spaceguard Centre,
Open Wednesday to Sunday at the following times:
1 May to 30 September
10.30am, 2.00pm and 4.00pm
1 October to 30 April
2.00pm and 4.00pm
