Ynys Clydach Cottage

Ynys Clydach Cottage

Built in 1740, Ynys Clydach is a beautiful stone-built cottage situated in an idyllic and secluded location on the northern edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park. Sympathetically renovated, the cottage offers a mixture of traditional features – an inglenook fireplace, thick stone walls, beams and welsh slate floors – with fittings suitable for more modern living – a stunning kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine and induction hob, woodburner and central heating, comfy sofas, flat screen tv, DVD, Bluetooth speaker, and a luxury bathroom. For those freezing winter days and wet welsh summer nights the property also benefits from a fantastic BBQ lodge giving guests the opportunity to barbecue indoors all year round. Sleeps 4 with 1 double room and either 2 single or 1 kingsize bed Please note that the cottage is not suitable for children under the age of 5 or the infirm due to very steep stairs and uneven floors; We welcome 1 well behaved dog. The cottage, whilst in a fairly remote location, has easy access to the A40 which is within 1 mile.
