3rd August 

Brecon


A great day out for all the family featuring Livestock and Main Ring Attractions as well as Domestic, Horticulture, Food Hall and Craft.



4th August 

Llanidloes Gardens Open for NGS 

Llanidloes


A mix of public and private gardens inc two community gardens, allotments, courtyard and cottage gardens.



4th August 

The Meadows Open Garden for NGS 

Caersws,

An eclectic mix of areas with different themes. Colourful annuals, perennials and shrubs.



9th - 11th August 

Brecon

The Brecon Jazz Festival is a music festival held annually in Brecon and has played host to a range of jazz musicians from across the world.

Sioe Llanfyllin 

Bodfach Park, Llanfyllin


An annual agricultural event, celebrated for over a century as a vibrant showcase of rural life and Welsh culture.

Montgomery


The Montgomery Show celebrates the region's agricultural traditions with a lively array of events and exhibitions.



15th - 18th August 

Crug Hywel 


Once a tiny folk event attended by just a few hundred people, Green Man has grown to be one of the can’t-miss fixtures of the summer festival season.

Brookside Open Garden for NGS

Llandrindod Wells 


A beautiful stream-side garden in Llandrindod Wells. colourful herbaceous beds and borders, vegetable plot and small apiary, wetland and woodland plantings. Peace, beauty and colour with rich wildlife in the midst of glorious scenery.



18th - 24th  August 

Machynlleth


An exceptional programme promising the best in Welsh, classical, world, jazz and folk music, alongside poetry, lectures, exhibitions and more.



19th- 25th  August 

Llandrindod Wells


Step back in time to an enchanting array of Victorian-themed attractions, from elegant street parades to historic fairs and period drama performances."



22-26th  August 

Presteigne Festival 

Presteigne


A mix of new music, 20th-century classics, and standard repertoire masterpieces. It also includes film, literature, and art exhibitions 


24th  August 

Knighton Show and Carnival 

Knighton


A celebration of local culture, and community spirit, offering a wide range of activities and attractions for visitors of all ages.

Berriew Show 


A platform for local farmers, crafters, and performers to showcase their skills and engage with the community.


25th  August 

Llanwrtyd Wells


Don your snorkel, wetsuit, and flippers and navigate your way through a muddy, water-filled bog…

Llangynidr Agricultural Show 

Llangynidr


At the Llangynidr Agricultural Show, visitors can enjoy a day of traditional rural activities, including livestock judging, craft stalls, and delicious local food."

Llanfechain Horticultural and Sports Show
